Under new materialist perspectives, clay embodies an ongoing historicity in the process of becoming (Barad 2003). During the process of body printing, my body was the zone of both sight and touch, the sensation of the body was harvested and analyzed, my response to clay was recorded which reflects my personal lived experience and emotion. Working with clay and engaging performance is a hybrid ceative practice, where the making takes place, but the final production(print) of the exchange between body and material is not my primary concern.
